i fell in love with these cute peep toe pumps that i saw a girl rocking today and suddenly realized how badly i need to go shoe shopping. really. it's been a minute since i've splurged. in fact, the last time i really went all out is when i was working part time at steve madden. 50% discount - obviously the shoe game stayed on point. but it's time to refresh the collection. i'm not on a carrie bradshaw budget so i'd be happy with these fall looks to kick off the season:

it's all about peep toe booties this fall, apparently. sexy. and i had to throw in the ultra high, cuff folded or unfolded, flat pirate boots - for those chill days.

red carpet fresh.

mrs. smith held it down last night at the new york premiere of 'lakeview terrace'. sweet & lovely she was - the color, sequins, & the short poufy skirt all worked for her. she stole the red carpet i had to check to see if she had a role in the movie. she doesn't. her and big will were there to support jada's brother caleb who does play in the flick.

movie hits this friday. this one i want to see!

i decided to hop on the blog bandwagon to add yet another dimension to the new sgb.

the personality of this blog will figure its own self out (i hate to be put in a box). but i can say that this will be a style + lifestyle blog.

the style/fashion part: i will highlight sgb, of course. i will highlight the style icons we love, hate, love to hate, hate to love - take your pick. i will highlight the not-so-famous with incredible style. i will spotlight interesting industry folks, etcetera. you know, all encompassing fashion.

the lifestyle part: what we wear is just one part of us. how we talk, what we talk about, what we watch, what we listen too, what we like, what we hate - basically all that extra stuff that gives us our swag, you'll find a little of that here too.
