i don't get too many reader questions but every time i do i get hype. tish from out of dallas (what's up tish!) sent me an email simply asking:

it's the holidays. a sista's on a budget. is re-gifting acceptable?

hell yes.

yeh folks. don't let folks tell you otherwise. why be wasteful? if you can't do anything with it, why not pass it on to someone who can. times are hard on the boulevard. save a dollar and pass it on.

just heard that alaina reed from sesame street (and later one of my other old school favorites, 227) passed away last week. aww.

well looky here. yet another celebrity fragrance. beyonce's new perfume, heat - described as a mixture of red vanilla, orchard, magnolia, peach and neroli - is set to be in stores next month.

please let me know how it smells. or if i smell it first, i may report back to you. although i highly doubt it. celebrity fragrances are kinda like celebrity clothing lines ... usually not much to get excited about. just a famous name on a bottle. truly it could come from avon ... if it smells good, then i'm on it. if it doesn't, then it doesn't ... even with a famous name scribbled on the bottle.
