... apparently not. per WWD, fashion mags are suffering due to the economic decline. it's hard enough for new magazines (just think of all the new, promising ones that crumbled due to low sales. i still miss vibe vixen, honey, suede, etc.) but even the more established mags are feeling the ill effects of the r word. yes, recession.
according to WWD, print ad pages are down. vanity fair, w, lucky, just to name a few are all down from 07. even oprah dumped the home version of her o magazine. still, more promising is elle and harper's bazaar who have a slight increase from last year.
recessions suck, huh. everyone and thing is affected somehow. persoally, i'd probably never read without my trusty magazines and my coffee table would look awfully bare.
