lala's full court wedding premieres tonight at 10:30 pm on vh-1. yes, another reality show that will follow lala and carmelo as they plan their wedding. the couple tied the knot back in july. will you be watching? i will. and not just because carmelo is absolutely gorgeous. with a cute style. and a charming smile. nope. not just because of that.

am i the only one who thinks, at quick glance, that carmelo and lala look a lot like jay and beyonce?

only melo and lala always look a bit more lovey dovey.

project runway 8 premieres tonight.

pr returns for its 8th season tonight on lifetime. will you be watching? i didn't watch last season or even the season before. i was a little done once they stiffed korto from the all star challenge. she was so obviously the winner.

some changes to the show include the air time: from 10 to 9PM and now 90 minutes instead of 60, to show more of the deliberation between the judges. there will be 17 contestants instead of 16 and there will be new twists and turns to keep the show interesting. i would have loved to see a refreshed panel of judges. nina irks me most of the time.

i don't know if i'll tune in this season. besides, omarosa's ultimate merger is on tv one at the same time. maybe i can catch up on saturdays.

last night, heidi klum, the show's host, attended the show's premier in nyc rocking a white jumpsuit, a cropped black blazer, red pumps and a pompadour hair do. also noticeable is the absence of any accessories. i've always said that klum is stunning and she's always dressed to kill. how do you like her look?

tune in tomorrow night as cnbc explores the social and economic impact of knock-off products. from handbags to shoes to prescription drugs to weapons, they'll address the tie between knock-offs and terrorists. should be interesting. i'll be watching ... unless big brother 10 is on.

ok, in all fairness i am completely aware that it may just be me. the awards just really didn't excite me. don't get me wrong. i wouldn't have missed them. and i watched (i.e. left it on) from start to finish. had i been on facebook, my status updates would have been something like this ...

-so, i used the performances as my bathroom breaks. they weren't horrible just not that entertaining. kanye is the truth. the song is hot. the performance, just a'ight. loved the energy of the diddy dirty money performance with rick ross and ti. oh yeh and nicki minaj (aka wilma flintstone) who was unknowingly hidden behind the smoke for half of her performance.

-jada's a hot momma. her frame has got me drawing out a fitness plan to-day!

-why didn't usher just sing OMG?

-nia long is gorgeous. so is larenz. the love jones reference was cute. and they really would make a cute couple.

-where was the freestyle cipher?! that was the highlight of the awards.

-nice to see keyshia cole! loved her throwback hairstyle - short front and side bangs and long back.

-love monica. wings and all. so glad she didn't fly away. A+ for bringing out deniece williams to sing silly. glad ms. williams made it through the notes of the song. no disrespect, m'am.

-not a fan of chris brown but he did a damn good mj tribute. damn good. was it about him or mj, though?

- el debarge! enjoyed his throwback performance. he looked pretty good too since the last time i saw him.

-prince! love him. he's oh so cool. why did they do him like that though? his greatness deserves a better tribute than they pulled together. where was maxwell? or the rest of the old school greats. that sucked, quite frankly. but he did seem truly honored.

me and these reality shows. i need therapy because i'm straight hooked.

anyone else plan to tune in to jersey couture? the series will follow the scalis, a family who runs their own "extravagant women's formal wear" shop, diane & co. mix that in with the clashing personalities of diane and her two daughters, kimberly and christina, and you have the recipe for some pretty good reality tv. don't you think?

while you're sucking your teeth at the thought of yet another reality show, i'm excited that there's a new show to entertain me on monday nights. yup. i still love reality shows. i watch monica's faithfully, every tuesday night. and now i'll be watching fantasia's. fantasia for real airs tonight at 10 on vh-1.

furthermore, i'm surely getting old. because these gimmick over-night celebrities and these tired existing stars (um, beyonce), hardly excite me. i'm looking forward to monica and tasia coming back with some real singing. how about you? we shall see ...

real house-haters of atlanta.

while i don't have a lot of time for anything unrelated to weddings these days, i still found time to watch real house-haters, o i mean housewives, of atlanta.

i'm pretty addicted to the show. but it is a clear indication of how chicks, not all chicks, secretly and not-so-secretly can't bring themselves to support the chicks that they call friends. with friends like that who needs enemies, right? these chicks hate all day long. especially that nene. fabulous, she is. fabulously hateful. kim is just a mess. a comedic mess. sheree is just sheree. she cracks me up too. lisa just gets in where she fits in. kandi is really the only one who doesn't seem phony. good or bad, the ladies are go-getters and determined to ride the mess out of this 5 minutes of fame. and i'm not mad at that at all.

amerie's twin, kourtney (tye and i swear she and amerie could pass for sisters) and khloe are headed to miami in e!'s newest unscripted series, kourtney & khloe take miami. the show will follow the sisters as they open a second store front for their clothing shop, dash.
and since i'm sucked in with these kind of unscripted tv shows, i'll be watching. it premieres on sunday, august 9.

darryl bell & tempest bledsoe - who knew?

am i the only one who somehow missed that tempestt bledsoe (vanessa from the cosby show) and darryl bell (ron from different world) were married?

well i'm hearing from some that they are married. others say their long time partners. regardless, they're an item. and have been for a long time.

i found out when i saw the previews for the new reality show, househusbands of hollywood, which they'll be starring in. the reality shows several couples where the woman is the breadmaker and the husbands manage the homefront.

i may take a peek and see if it's worth watching. (august 15 on fox)

while everyone is speculating on kelly after she booted mr. knowles and reportedly was booted from her label, ms. rowland is moving on.

she, along with fern mallis of img and isaac mizrahi (love saying his last name!), will judge 15 designers as they compete to have their designs sold in stores along with $125,000.

i'm sold. sounds a little like project runway. great gig for the beautiful ms. rowland - love her style! and i'd love to see her explore other options in fashion and beyond.
