vera wang for david's bridal.

ms. wang, could you have finalized this collaboration a year ago when i was planning my wedding? just kidding. my wedding dress was certainly not vera wang but i loved it dearly.

future brides on a budget will get lucky next spring because after david's bridal's persistence, vera wang has agreed to design a bridal collection ranging from $600 to $1,500. pretty good considering her regular line ranges from about $4,000 to $25,000.


now i know i usually scoff at the idea of big designer lines for regular stores but this sounds like a pretty sensible collaboration. say what you want about david's but they do pretty good business with over 300 stores across the country, plus their internet site. that opens ms. wang up to a whole lot of brides-to-be who otherwise wouldn't think about ( or even care to) shelling out the cash to buy a vera wang gown.
