the wonders of blotting paper.

so me and the girls had a fabulously full day last saturday celebrating candice's 30th: mani's, pedi's and 'tini's at the nail salon; a huge (no gigantic) dinner at maggiano's and a little moet back at the hotel suite before heading off to a night at the club. we were cute. had our faces all made up. but in less than a half an hour inside the club, the champagne (and ok, yeh, maybe the lemon drop shots) had us burning up.

thank God for the rice paper blotting sheets that 2 of the girls had. i was impressed that the sheets removed the excess oil without removing the make-up. i don't remember the exact brand they had but i came across these options:

palladio rice paper, 40 sheets for $3.99, sally beauty

there are tons of options out there so pick what works for you. i'll definitely be grabbing some this weekend ... i think i'm gonna go with the clean & clear sheets.
